Differing levels of sexual interest and drive is a common concern for couples. But are you talking about it in therapy? Attachment and good communication are often not enough to untangle sexual incompatibility or ongoing frustrations. In this talk you will gain tools to facilitate real discussion about sexual desire and to help couples’ develop both sexual empathy & differentiation.

  • Assessing sexual differences and co-occurring issues
  • Teaching sexual negotiation skills
  • How and when to refer to sex therapy

Participants of this presentation will:

  • Identify three aspects of sexual health to assess in couples
  • Name five common factors in low sexual desire
  • Gain two skills to teach in healthy sexual negotiation
